Michael Thompson is a senior technical offering manager and architect for IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM Cloud Pak for Applications, focusing on operations and the evolution of WebSphere Network Deployment (WAS ND) to containers and Kubernetes. With 20 years of industry experience, 15 of which are with IBM, Michael has contributed to numerous software projects and products, including the Linux kernel and WebSphere Application Server, with a deep interest in the areas of security and management. A firm believer in quality practices, Michael is passionate about, has taught and applied Agile, test driven development (TDD), functional and unit test practices and methodologies.
Graham is an IBM Senior Technical Staff Member and Offering Manager responsible for the Open Liberty and WebSphere Liberty Java runtime offerings. He has a doctorate from the University of Manchester and takes a keen interest in emerging technologies and practices, and in particular programming models. Past exploits include leading WebSphere's developer advocacy activities, establishing and contributing to open-source projects at PHP and Apache and participation in, and leading, industry standards at OASIS and the OSGi Alliance.
John has been part of IBM for more than 20 years after, prior to which John was a Java Developer and Architect for telco solutions. Since then, he had led offerings in IT Cost Management and worked in many areas of cloud management and orchestration. John now works as a Technical Offering Manager building tooling to help enterprises adapt to cloud technologies and practices.
