IBM Control Desk 7.6.1.2 is now available!

IBM and Altran are pleased to inform you that the newest IBM Control Desk, version 7.6.1.2, is available on May 29, 2020.

Main capabilities included it this version consist in:

  • improved collaboration through ChatOps and Slack integration which allows the team to share tickets info in real-time using Slack

 

  • supporting LUM to count licenses allowing customers to be aware of licensing consumption and avoid overage

 

  • maintaining remote support through a new implementation based on Virtual Network Computing (VNC) server which replace IBM Remote Diagnostics tool

 

  • supporting new simplified TADDM data model allowing integration with TADDM Adapter and ICD to import and manage discovered CIs in TADDM as actual its CIs

 

  • Service Portal enhancements:
    • Display incident status in Service Portal when related to service request
    • Enable custom filed "Location" in Service Portal to be set with crossover domain when creating tickets
    • Live chat support in a clustered environment through Service Portal
  • Mobile App enhancement:
    • Change request approval workflow is now enabled using mobile application
  • Updates to the newest levels of internal components:
