It is most easily utilized in conjunction with COBie data that is imported in the BIM Projects application. The Autodesk Viewer integration provides visualization of Building Information Model (BIM) data in the context of the Maximo Assets, Locations, and Work Order Tracking applications. In this context, it provides the following features: Forge Service Administration • A UI for administering the Autodesk APS service as used by Maximo including: • Managing storage containers (Autodesk Buckets) • Uploading models to the Autodesk APS service • Linking multi-part models • Translating models into viewable formats
Autodesk Viewer features that are exposed in the Viewer toolbar include: Full 3D navigation • Basic search • Model properties • Model tree • Sectioning of a model • Model walk through • Save and restore views

Updated version of the BIM plugin has been posted. Fixes for Autodesk deprecation of API has been resolved. Posted version will work for Maximo 7.6.x, Manage 8.x or Manage 9.x installs.
Hello Thomas, thanks for all the explanations about the current status of the solution. Do you have any estimate of how long it will take to prepare a fix or an update?
Thanks for your response Thomas! Looking forward to the update.
Hello Larry,
There is an issue with Autodesk deprecating some API we use in our plugin. My team is working to resolve this issue and will post an updated plugin soon. Here is the reference to the API which were deprecated (link).
Hello Thomas, when using the latest plugin if I try to upload a model to a bucket i get the following error message in my error.log and the upload fails:
psdi.util.MXApplicationException: BIMAA0177E - Error accessing the Autodesk cloud: - Legacy endpoint is deprecated[2/6/25 15:13:53:918 CET] 0000189e SystemErr R at psdi.app.bim.viewer.lmv.ModelFileLoader.run(ModelFileLoader.java:80)[2/6/25 15:13:53:918 CET] 0000189e SystemErr R at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:825)
Do you have any ideas on how to solve this?
Thank you for the information provided. One small observation, the documents folder that are present for Maximo 8 and Maximo 7612. are same. In Maximo 8 the document present for installation are of Maximo 7.6. Could you please provide the document for Auto desk configuration for MAS Manage 8
Thank you very much, this is the information that I was missing to configure BIM in manage, I have a question about the documentation in point 1.2 - 5 5. In the Customization section of the configuration window, specify the URL for the BIM archive file. How can I get that url, should I upload the file somewhere in openshift?
thanks again
Could you set the archive here?
Thanks.
