If you have multiple Sites, your JOIN should include the SiteID in a WHERE clause and/or in the ON clause. You used NVL around the cost fields in the main SELECT but not in the Tasks GROUP BY Query. Since the Act... columns are not flagged as REQUIRED, you should use NVL throughout to be safe. ...

Hi. The HasChildren flag will be set to 1 when a WO has Tasks so I don't think you want to rely on that field if you want to include WOs whose only children are Tasks. You said you're using: where ( parent is not null or (haschildren= 0 and parent is null )) and istask = 0 The first part of that, ...

Assuming you're not working in a Multi-Tenant environment, the fact that you're seeing the "Create Extension Table" option is a bug. I have submitted a case to IBM to report it. The ApplicationAuth records for that option in a MaxDemo environment have the ConditionNum = "MTONLY". That condition references ...

That's actually not a good approach. When you group by "coalesce(parent, wonum)", the costs charged directly to a child WO will be included with the Parent WO and the ClassificationID won't be what you want either. ------------------------------ Julio Hernandez ------------------------------

There are many ways to do this but relying on the WOGroup avoids having to bring the WOAncestor into it. Below are 2 options: SELECT WO.WONum, WO.WorkType, (SELECT SUM(ActLabCost) FROM WorkOrder AC WHERE AC.WOGroup = WO.WOGroup) as "Actual Labor Cost", (SELECT SUM(ActMatCost) FROM WorkOrder AC WHERE ...

The use of Job Plans for Inspections requires the creation of a WO for each Asset or Location being inspected. This has always been a significant drawback of doing inspections in Maximo. The creation of a WO for activities that may only take a few minutes and are not going to be scheduled or charged ...

An AutoScript validation as suggested by Jason is a good fail safe. Regarding the Application Designer changes: In the "Work Order Tracking" application, a Task cannot be promoted to a WO unless you allow a Task WO to appear as the "header" WO. By default, the "Is Task?" field is set to "N" on the ...

Trying to "promote" a Task to a Child WO by simply changing IsTask from 1 to 0 is dangerous. When a Task is "promoted" by adding a Task directly or through a Job Plan, the IsTask value is not the only thing that changes. The TaskID will be NULLed out and the WOGroup, which is set to the Parent when ...

The Classification/Specification feature was originally only available for the Asset, Item, and Locations objects and the feature was introduced to replace the conditionally related tables feature that existed back in the Client/Server days where depending on an attribute on the record, a tool bar button ...

Thanks for the response. Just to be clear, are you saying that if my Maximo URL is " example.com:443/maximo ", I should set it to " example.com:443/samlsps/* "? ------------------------------ Julio Hernandez ------------------------------

Hi Biplab, Your above post has been a big help but I'm confused as to what goes in the sso_1.sp.acsUrl property. If my Maximo URL is " https://example.com:443/maximo ", would I set it to " https://example.com:443/samlsps/maximo "? The note about " multiple, similar entry points for your SAML workflows ...
