The Chef cookbook for IBM Integration Bus for Developers is now available on ot4i-cookbooks on github.

Chef software is an open-source configuration management tool that you can use to create parts of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The recipe that is provided in the ibm_integration_bus cookbook can create an IBM Integration Bus installation for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86-64. The installation includes all of the required prerequisites, and a user account to manage the configuration of the components. The created installation is a fully-working, ready-to-use system, including creating all nodes and servers for a default configuration.

IBM Integration Bus for Developers is a free, fully-functional evaluation version of IBM Integration Bus that you can use for an unlimited length of time, as long as it is used within the terms of the license agreement. More recipes will be added to the cookbook in future to support the installation of all versions of IBM Integration Bus.
