Yes. Change that password, but "do not" use the "Force Password Change" option.
Share the password through secure means with your client so they can apply it to their SNMP software.

Hi Joseph,
Yes, it used only from the SNMP client and not for direct login to Datapower appliance.
By Creating password, hope you mean changing the password of the existing user and not creating a new user account.
PFA the screenshot.

1) Does the client use the user account to directly log in to the appliance, or is it used only from the SNMP client? Reset password will work for interactive login, but an SNMP client very likely won't be able to handle the reset procedure. Generally speaking, you will need to create a new password and share with the client. Make sure you don't enforce a password change on the next login.
2) Has the client also lost these? If so, yes.

Subject: SNMP User Accounts
Hi Team,
We have SNMP user account on our appliance i.e SNMP Client is connecting to Datapower for over SNMP port 161 for monitoring.
Seems the client has lost the password and at Datapower also, we can directly see the creds set for this User account.
We wanted to workaround this
1) Will "Reset Password" from the User Account object help i.e reset password and share the same to client to use the same?
2) Also, will the existing setup related to the Localized Key , Authentication value, Privacy value need to be reconfigured?
If yes, can you please help with steps.
