Oauth Implementation References

    HI All,

In the past there were links in the internet on tutorials to DataPower Oauth implementation (Parts 1 thru 6)  that were published by IBM DataPower experts.

It appears those links are no longer accessible. How can we access the tutorials again?

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

the articles were published on developerworks.

And IBM did shutdown that site, which contained 1000s of forums and DataPower forum, as well as blogs end of 2019.

But the internet does not forget ;-)

I found one article reference, went to wayback machine and was able to see it.
It contained link to all 10(!) articles of that series:

Paul: This 9 (but think actually 10) part OAuth series of whitepapers were published on developerWorks in 2012. As you know, IBM sunset developerWorks and the series mostly disappeared (thinking about a decade ago). I think 4 of the 9 are "accidentally" alive on IBM Support. Note that when a customer asks IBM Support, they should have access and can provide when asked these out-of-date whitepapers. Areas where the original material is out of date is the crypto artifacts, the GUI shown in snapshots, the DataPower wizards used for illustration, and several products for integration reaching EoS.

    Hi F and Hermann,
It appears the download .zip files in the original articles were links to the developerworks site.  I'm assuming these are lost. I tried them and I get only to the generic https://developer.ibm.com/ site.  Any oft chance they can also be resurrected?
    Thanks,

    Steve

Steve: I think you're referring to the "zip" files that have the sample configurations to use.  These will never be made available "as were". As stated, what was built from importing (and uploading) files in these archive packages is "bad" for use with DataPower today -- specifically the crypto artifacts. Where IBM will grant resources to fully rework to be "up to date" is doubtful. Note that if someone reaches out, we internally have done work on these bundles to bring them more up to date. Now with the bundles "current", there's more work needed to bring the documents themselves to comply to the latest product. It's a never ending circle and IBM needs input from field to get resource to update correctly and keep current based on ROI (business justification).
