    Hi experts

    I'm looking for a way, esql and/or java, to determine in code what type a json field is, boolean, character, ...

    I know you can determine if it's a array or normal json field, but I can't seem to find how to determine if it's a character or a boolean, for example.

    I know fieldtype is not the proper function for this and that I need to be looking at the datatype, but I'm not finding a way to check this?
