I would like to confirm that IBM MQ for z/OS does not really have the AMQP component available.
I would be very grateful if any colleague could point me to an alternative to establish communication between MQ for z/OS and RabbitMQ running on the AWS Cloud.

Correct, MQ for z/OS doesn't support AMQP. You could raise an idea if you would like us to consider implementing that support.

Other customers have connected their AMQP apps to a distributed queue manager and then forwarded the messages to MQ on z/OS via sender/receiver channels.

We don't want to add more node outside the Mainframe using distributed Queue Manager.
Could the IBM Integration Bus for z/OS be an alternative to use as a connector between MQ for z/OS and RabbitMQ - AWS?

IIB  would be one option if you used the Rabbit MQ JMS API. If you just want a simple bridge you could also consider: https://camel.apache.org/components/3.20.x/eips/messaging-bridge.html
