Oracle Taleo Business Edition (TBE) is a service that enables you to hire the best talent by choosing the appropriate candidates. It helps businesses onboard candidates, track their performance, train existing employees and upgrade their skills.

Using Oracle TBE with App Connect
You can use App Connect to perform actions on the following objects:

  • Requisition
  • Candidate
  • Account
  • Contact
  • Employee
  • Users
  • Interview
  • Approval
  • Candidate offer
  • Onboard packet
  • Onboard activity
  • Attachment
  • Resume
  • Competency
  • Company goal
  • Employee goal
  • Performance review
  • Location
  • Picklist

To use App Connect to integrate Oracle TBE with your applications, you need to connect App Connect to your Oracle TBE account. To do that, you’ll need to provide the following information:

    • Company code: The company code for Oracle TBE.
    • Username: The username for the Oracle TBE account.
    • Password: The password for the specified user.
For more information about other supported connectors, see Connectors.

Scenario: When a new employee is created in Oracle TBE, create a new employee in Oracle NetSuite SuitePeople HCM

As an example, consider this scenario, when a new employee is created in Oracle TBE, a new employee is created in Oracle NetSuite SuitePeople HCM. Oracle NetSuite SuitePeople organizes employee data and provides efficient job management services and workflows. So you might want to synchronize the data of the talented candidates stored in Taleo to use the HR processes provided in SuitePeople such as their payroll services.

To see an example of how you can use App Connect to integrate Oracle TBE with other applications, try out a template. In App Connect, go to the Templates gallery, then search for the template called “When a new employee is created in Oracle TBE, create a new employee in Oracle NetSuite SuitePeople HCM”.

In this scenario, a scheduler runs a flow every day at the specified time interval to retrieve a set of new employees created in Oracle TBE. To sync data from Oracle TBE into Oracle Netsuite SuitePeople HCM a “For each” node is used to fetch the details of each employee. When the sync is completed successfully, the new employees from Oracle TBE are created in Oracle NetSuite SuitePeople HCM.

Note: It is good practice to limit the flow calls to endpoint as 4-5 requests per second.
