With the release of MQ V9.3.3, All AMQP JMS workloads (using the Apache Qpid provider) should show an improvement in comparison to MQ V9.3.0, particularly with smaller messages. As an example, the chart below, shows a comparison between a requester/responder workload in MQ V9.3.0 and V9.3.3.
A performance report is now available from the mqperf site on GitHub:
https://ibm-messaging.github.io/mqperf/MQ_V9.3_AMQP_Performance_Report_xLinux_v1.0.pdf.
In addition, the PerfHarness performance tool now includes a Qpid JMS provider to enable testing (https://github.com/ot4i/perf-harness)
For a list of the current MQ performance reports see our main page on GitHub here: https://ibm-messaging.github.io/mqperf/
