The IBM Champions program recognizes people who are experts in IBM technologies and who help others use IBM products and services. They are innovative thought leaders who share their knowledge and experiences to help others and shape IBM products.
The 2025 nomination and selection process has been a great opportunity for me to get to know the community, our members and our programs. We had over 250 community members nominated to be IBM Integration Champions this year. The selection committee and I were astounded by the level of effort and engagement among our members in 2024. To be selected as an IBM Integration Champion our nominees participated in many activities of advocacy and engagement that went above and beyond what their everyday role.
Some of those activity types included:
1. Speaking at conferences and events
2. Creating articles, videos, and blog posts
3. Supporting User Groups and Communities
4. Supporting IBM with references and reviews
We are thrilled to have selected 50 IBM Integration Champions who are clients and business partners from around the world provide thought leadership, expertise and mentorship throughout the technical community and beyond.
Our 2025 IBM Integration Champions include returning Champions such as Morag Hughson who is very active in our MQ community providing training, writing blog posts, and providing input to group discussions and new Champions like Sooraj Lohana who was a Rising Champion and earned a contributor badge in 2024 for speaking at numerous events last year. Several of the IBM Integration nominees who were not selected to be IBM Champions this year may become IBM Rising Champions which is a vital part of their journey and our ecosystem.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our community and the IBM Integration Champions in 2024! We appreciate the time and energy you spend advocating for the IBM products that you are passionate about. We look forward to 2025, as we continue to grow our community of both IBM Integration Champions and Rising Champions.
