The latest version of performance report MP16, also known as Capacity Planning and Tuning for IBM MQ for z/OS, is now available.

This report includes updates to:

• Maximum message rate for private and shared queue on IBM z16.
• Channel start / stop rates and costs on IBM z16, including TLS channels.
• Using AT-TLS to encrypt data flowing over IBM MQ channels over 10Gb performance network.
• Cost of moving messages to and from z/OS images, including correcting the algorithm to assist in your own calculations.
• Common MSGID or CORRELID with deep shared queue on IBM z16.
• Shared queue persistent message performance after 63KB transition when using Db2 v13 as message offload destination.
• 64-bit storage usage with indexed queues, corrected in-line with IBM documentation.
