Hi Mauricio
thanks for reaching out. And thanks for providing all docs.
The docs describe a slew of metrics, would anything work as an alternative?
As documented, we extract from MON_GET_INSTANCE these metrics:
DBM Config Usage - Total Connections Current number of connections to database and is collected from the MON_GET_INSTANCE.
DBM Config Usage - Agents Max Number Maximum number of agents that are registered and is collected from the MON_GET_INSTANCE.
DBM Config Usage - Coordinating Agents Max Number Maximum number of coordinating agents that are registered and is collected from the MON_GET_INSTANCE.
Please open an AHA! to put you really need these metrics.
Best regards
Tom

Subject: DB2 - Alerting and Monitoring for DB2 Active Databases.
Hi Team!
I can´t find Alerting to monitor if a Database is active or if an Instance is Up.
Acording to DB2 documentation MON_GET_INSTANCE table function we need the follow elements to proper monitor Instance and Databases.
SQLM_DB2_ACTIVE 0 The database manager instance is active.
SQLM_DB_ACTIVE 0 The database is active.
Currently we are monitor DB2 Process, however is not working properly and accurate Alerting.
Apreciate any help !
