IBM Host Configuration Assistant for Z Development 3.3
has been released.
The following updates have been made in 3.3:
Support is added for the host configuration of Wazi Code 2.0 delivered in IBM Z and Cloud Modernization Stack.
Support is added for host component IBM Z Virtual Test Platform Server Extension (HAMHxxx), which is only available with IBM Z Virtual Test Platform. ZVTP Server Extension provides a web interface to manage test results created by Dynamic Test Runner (FMID HAL6xxx).
COBOL and CICS command Level Conversion Aid (H09Fxxx) is removed from IBM Host Configuration Assistant for Z Development because IBM Debug for z/OS 15.0 no longer bundles it.
In the generated report, the current page is now highlighted with middle blue in the navigation pane. The icons left to the navigation titles indicate the progress for each page: "not started", "in progress", "completed". When a checkbox is selected on the page, the icon is changed from "not started" to "in progress". When you select "Mark this page as completed" at the end of the page, the status is changed from "in progress" to "completed".
An overview page is added in Host Configuration Assistant, where you can find supported product versions, and an overview of the host component dependencies.
As Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is enabled, when you log in IBM Host Configuration Assistant for Z Development for the first time on a new device, you'll need to authenticate your login with the code sent to you in an email.
Please play with the tool and let us know should there be any comments or feedback.
