Libby leads the IBM Champions Program worldwide, working closely with business units to support, recruit, and amplify the work of this select group of external advocates. IBM Champions are business partners or customers, thought leaders, visionaries, developers, practitioners, academicians, consultants, and business and technology leaders who have deep expertise in IBM's technology and services and actively support the communities around those technologies. Libby supports and collaboratively works directly with the 600+ IBM Champions.
An IBMer since fall 2015, Libby has previously worked in marketing and communications (communications director, magazine editor, author, technical writer), in education (technical training, teaching high school and college), and technology (consultant and practitioner in messaging, networking, and other technology).
Libby earned her BA from University of Houston and holds a master’s degree from Rice University. Libby, her husband, and their twins live with one cat, acres of books, a few computers, and way too many mosquitoes in Houston.
