In normal PA you need to go to Planning Analytics Administration (PAA) from the front page of PAW and download them from the database in question. If PAA is not available in the On-Demand build then I'm not sure what your alternatives are.... ------------------------------ Steven Rowe ------------- ...

I've not used Anaplan but as a developer in PA its straight forward to rebuild cubes when in the initial prototyping stage of an appliction and post this we have Hierarchies to deliver additional analysis dimensions as requirements change. ------------------------------ ...

Just to round out the detail on this, active forms failed in the 2.0.9 perspective release, unless the row headers were in the same dimension order as the cube itself. This is where the inconsistency comes from. Just in case you want to check if you can reproduce and be sure it is the same issue. The ...

There are ALOT of time out cfgs in Planning Analytics, all set to different values by default (and using different units). You'll need to set most of them to get reliable behavior. (Any listening @ IBM ?) Suggest you review the attached link, https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSD29G_2.0 ...

I found an answer on the tm1forum https://www.tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14797&p=73290&hilit=viewmdxset#p73290 Would be nice not to have to employ these workarounds. The solution is 1. In the MDX do your cross join excluding the non-empty 2. Then zero suppress the view using the ...

Hi, If I create a view with MDX and then assign it as a datasource to a view, this works well but... If the MDX query returns no results then (as far as I can tell) I run into errors that I can not trap or suppress. ViewCreateByMDX(sCubeName , sObjectName, sMDX, booTempOn); #Check that the view got created ...

Hi, Judging from the file path you are using PAW in an on premise environment. When you try and process a file using the drag and drop method the file is copied across in the background to a folder inside the data directory of the Planning Analytics database (PAL / TM1). The path shown is then the local ...

Interesting tip here It references Cognos Analytics specifically. Would this approach work on PAW as well? If so how do you configure websphere to use http/2? ------------------------------ Steven Rowe ------------------------------

Hi Rachael, There are two styles of view in PA now. The old style view, this only supports traditional square views and views that are defined via MDX. If you have an asymmetric view this can only be stored as an MDX view. In older releases of Pafe (Pax as was) you can not save an MDX view. In the ...
