Hi Todd, that is the point, unnamed snapshots are useless with Web PD, only with deprecated Desktop PD, either "Revision History" is implemented in WPD or "unnamed snapshots" are removed. I don't have a clear opinion on that, but, in case that the feature is kept for future releases, I think that the ...

According to doc, an unnamed snapshot is created every time a developer saves the work. However I didn't find a way to browse or restore available unnamed snapshots and it seems not to be related neither to the "undo" feature. Yes I agree this is a good solution. The inconvenience us that we have to update the resource in RES console everytime they update the shared library. Which is not obvious because we are not noticed about such updates. I will think twice about this and maybe will register the wish. It can be good open ...

Great Alain!! very good news. Let me abuse a bit of this thread with an interesting issue for the migration to ICP that I'm anticipating and don't know how to solve (at least don't know how to solve in a documented and supported way). The customer has a corporate java library to manage the laboral calendar ...

Hi, documentation says that you need a minimum of 3 Master and 8 Worker nodes to install all CP4A capabilities. We want to make a stable installation of only some components (Operator, Automation Decision Services, BAI, BAW, ODM and UMS). Provided that HA is not a requirement, and we don't care about ...

Hi Laszlo, If you use custom installation packages (that is with migration policies for a specific server) you can use either command. If you use generic installation packages you should use BPMInstallPackage and do the migration of instances in a later step with command BPMMigrateInstances in each ...

Many thanks Don, that is exactly what I was looking for. Just one more question or comment. Before asking the forums, I spent quite a long time trying to find a REST API like the one you sent. Still, after knowing the answer, I cannot find any documentation for the action "deleteDocument" with a ...

When using embedded BPM document store, is there some administrative script or API to cleanup documents attached to instances? The requirement is to delete documents attached to old completed instances for regulatory compliance, but without deleting the instances itself, that are still needed for performance ...

Thanks Bruno, looks good option. Is there any sample or guideline to create the Queue and the Connection Factory? There're a lot of parameters like the provider endpoint, destination type, bus name (is safe to use same bus name than other BAW queues) .... I would like to try this option but the doc ...

One option can be running queries directly against BAW DB tables like LSW_BPD_INSTACE, LSW_BPD_INSTANCE_VARIABLES, ... I guess this is not a recommended approach. Maybe using a TWSearch JavaScript in a process to export results to a csv or directly to the external DW. For instance, the process can ...

It was my mistake. When the snapshot is no longer attached to the governance of any process, it can be changed of status and then archive normally. ------------------------------ Eduardo Izquierdo Lázaro Automation Architect DECIDE MADRID +34609893677 ------------------------------

My way is like option 1, but implemented as an external service linked to a Java Component that exposes several log functions with different parameters (processapp, message, etc.) in the Java component I use Log4Java standard library. So all the parametrización is done by log4j, for instance to selectively ...

Hi, I'm developing a Governance process. For testing I'm using the guidelines as documented in te product Testing a governance process I released many snapshots during the testing and I don't know how to "unrelease". Once the snapshot is set to released status, you cannot change to a different status ...

Thanks Akash, I tried this solution before, but javascript API provided by BAW does not support functions like atob() / btoa(), looks like you have to develop you own encoding mechanism. Also, this solution has some inconveniences as you mention. Any option to use a Server Configuration of the ProcessApp? ...

I need to manage a connection to a third-party system using an ad-hoc Java Connector. I'm looking for a way to store connection settings (host, port, user, password) in the ProcessApp. I tried ENV vars but the password is stored clear, at least I didn't find how to encrypt. Adding a server definition ...

You should not need to do any more. In my case the Server appears registered in the Center after installation. Search for exceptions in the logs. Alternatively you can add the Server as "Offline Server" and manage the deployment with the AdminTask.BPMInstallPackage command. ------------------------------ ...

Now I realized why my instances were not properly migrated and become orphans instances that caused me this loose of completed instances in PRO. There is a bug in the doc, if you copy the command to migrate instances directly from page https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/baw/20.x?topic=server-using-wsadmin- ...
