Actually, this is pretty awful documentation compared to the far superior 12.1 pdf references that IBM provided which had 1) one pdf to browse per major topic, 2) pdf bookmarks for quick drill down access to information, and 3) wow, an index! These hcl pdf's are clearly an after thought without very much thought. Yet it is better than navigating the online hcl "documentation" and wasting more time clicking and waiting to see the next paragraph instead of quickly scrolling and actually reading the portions of interest!
I opened an IBM support ticket for this very issue long ago and they acknowledged the documentation quality gap and promised to address it. Until then I continue to get my information quickly from the 12.1 pdf's unless I suspect something may have changed in which case I compare the specifics with the 14.10 version to see if anything is different.
