Unload is slow or HPL but much more complex to activate ------------------------------ [eric] [Vercelletto] [] [Founder] [kandooerp.org] [Pont l'Abbé] [France] [+33 626 52 ...

Hi Folks, I have tried looking into the sysmaster.sql file which is pretty well documented, but apparently my personal search engine is not efficient enough. I want to detect the 'Checkpoint In Progress' engine status with a query ( I know how to do it with onstat ) I have found something like the ...

Brad, Not original answer but I go Art's way about the trust on IFMX replication. Deadly simple to setup and admin, never fails, and more flexible in terms of functionality. With HDR + RSS you can ensure both High Availability and DRP scenarios in the lapse of a few seconds. I have a customer who ...

dSergio, depending on which columns you are talking about, but AFAIK these columns are expressed in seconds.xxxxx (5 digits after decimal point) Some other columns are expressed in UTC, but they are not durations, the are timestamps. Use the dbinfo(utc_to_datetime, value) to convert to a timestamp ...

Sergio Our religion forbids to use anything called OracleXXX I heard different things about Centos (Which I use and like a lot). Apparently community support will continue, and I also heard that Red hat was no more directly involved in the project for some time already. So what is the future? ...

Hi Josef, I never tested on Windows, but since ESQL/C can work on windows, theory says it should work. Best would be to install a gcc compiler on windows, that would probably avoid library issues. Regards Eric

If you let the Storage Pool manage the growth of your table, you will probably end your first load with TONS of extents. This happened to one of my customer who ...
