Don't forget the chunk header size so a 1024000 will take not a 1024000 physlog Cheers Paul Paul Watson Oninit LLC +1-913-387-7529 www.oninit.com Oninit®️ is a registered trademark of Oninit LLC

Not suggesting rewriting the app just the generic sql handler, I had to use mi_exec etc cos I was in a UDR If you want to use esqlc take a look at JL sqlcmd code - everything you need should be in there Cheers Paul Paul Watson Oninit LLC +1-913-387-7529 www.oninit.com Oninit®️ is a registered trademark ...

You could also go lower and use the mi_exec, mi_prepare etc functions and avoid esqlc completely. Normally they are used with C UDRs but are available in the client libraries as well. Cheers Paul Paul Watson Oninit LLC +1-913-387-7529 www.oninit.com Oninit®️ is a registered trademark of Oninit LLC

Nice little gotcha, running single user single session with LTXEHWM > 50 without DYNAMIC_LOGS then the engine will/can break when you hit a LTX. Corner case for sure but .... Cheers Paul

When it is full it is full, by default a temp table will not fragment across spaces. You could turn on auto extend ? Generally you want to size all your spaces the same size. There are exceptions but a good starting point Cheers Paul
