Because I want to check about FCM Drive code passed 800 Days or not. As FCM Code is running 3_0_1

    Thanking you in advance.

    Hi Hujefa,

there is no formal way to learn about the uptime of a FlashSystem or the FCMs, respectively.

So, on one hand, my advise would be to schedule an FCM firmware update as soon as possible.

To be on the safe side, though, raise a ticket with support and upload a support package, so our team can have a look and can give you profound advise.

If you collect a snap (Support Package Type 1) from the storage and extract the contents on a Linux or Windows PC then you will find drivedump files in the dumps/drive folder. These have some binary data in the beginning and the end but most is normal text. On Windows you can open these files in Notepad and search for 'Uptime'. On Linux you can use grep:

    $ grep --binary-files=text -A1 Uptime dumps/drive/drivedump_78xxxxx-1_1_220304_011329
    -- Uptime --
    365:15:18:10
    --
    -- Uptime --
    365:15:18:10

Also, make sure to pick the most recent of the drivedump files. The end of the file name is the time stamp with date and time.

    Hi,
The uptime of the FlashSystem itself is not necessarily a great indicator for your FCM 800 Days.
Each FCM may have a different start time depending on various events on that System / FCM.

Given you state your FCMs are running 3_0_1, it would be recommended IMMEDIATE upgrade of your FCMs.
Please refer to the Web Flash: HIPER: FlashCore Module (FCM) Critical update needed on FCMs on 3_x_x and 2_1_x Firmware
Given a worst case scenario is that your FCMs hit 800 Days Mid last year, you need to Act Quickly to avoid the issue.

As Christian suggested, get a case open with IBM and have your System checked by support to ensure a safe upgrade.
