David Kliemann
Cloud Risk and Controls Leader 
IBM Cloud 

David Kliemann is a Cloud Risk and Controls Leader for the IBM Cloud for Financial Services. He is responsible for providing support helping clients take a risk-centric approach to their digital transformation. He helps clients & internal IBM partners to understand key cloud related security issues, regulatory requirements, and risks. 

Prior to joining IBM, David held several cybersecurity roles at Fiserv, a Fortune 500 Fintech, leading Cyber Risk, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Monitoring/Hunting, and IT Audit Programs. Dave was also a 20-year U.S. Naval Officer, which included leading Information Operations and Cybersecurity teams.

Currently, Dave is an adjunct cybersecurity instructor at Marquette University and an advisory board member of MU’s Center for Cybersecurity Awareness and Cyber Defense. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from the U.S. Naval Academy, an M.S. in Technology Management and an MBA from the University of Maryland, along with a Masters Certificate in Information, Systems, and Operations from the Naval Post Graduate School.
