Canadian Maximo User Group (CanMUG)

a national community of like-minded Maximo users and professionals engaged in helping each other find new and better ways to solve problems and achieve business goals. The CanMUG was originally started in 2002 in Western Canada (operating as the WCMUG) and was expanded to include all of Canada in 2013. The group was started to help users connect and to provide a forum to exchange ideas and knowledge amongst users.

We hope we will see you Canadian Maximo User Group meeting on January 17 - 18, 2019. This year's meeting will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond. 
Come see valuable Maximo end-user presentations, attend the training workshop, and take the opportunity to collaborate and share best practices with over 100 Maximo users and professionals. We also usually manage to have a lot of fun in the process!

Morning Workshop What’s new in Maximo 7.6.1 (Presented by Ontracks Consulting)
IBM released Maximo Asset Management V7.6.1, an enhanced version of its predecessor Maximo 7.6. This Maximo release brings a fresh new look, modernized user experience and responsive user interface. Other improvements include new Inspection tools and enhancements to Work Centers.
A demonstration of Maximo 7.6.1 will be done, review new features and functionality, and provide a high-level overview of the upgrade process.
Afternoon Workshop Contract Management (Presented by Ontracks Consulting)
Workshop attendees will learn Maximo’s purchase contract and labour rate contract functionality and how these can be leveraged throughout Maximo to simplify the business process and controls for managing agree on price contracts with vendors for materials, services, and labour.
