Summary

Today’s sophisticated process applications are leveraging tightly-integrated Automation capabilities, like process modeling, decision management, RPA, document processing, content management, workflow, and AI, not to mention connections to business systems and email applications. An integral aspect of IBM’s automation strategy is the Automation Platform, which offers an integrated set of best-of-breed automation capabilities all in one product set, to speed the design and development of AI-powered applications.

To prove the value of the platform, IBM’s Digital Business Automation technical team has built a demonstration of the IBM Cloud Pak that leverages many of the capabilities of the platform and they keep adding new pieces.  In this session, we’ll ask Swapnil Agrawal to take us through the demo – showing an end-to-end process for Onboarding a new customer.  It’s a common business process that almost any organization, public or private, would derive benefit from if they automated.

Following the demo, we’ll turn to Michael Custard, Business Automation leader for the State of Minnesota, who brings 22 years of experience with ECM and Workflow.  Michael understands the power of Automation and has spent years integrating point solutions to create applications for many state agencies.  What will he think of IBM’s new integrated demo?  Join us to find out.
