    We know the reason. The rrdtool is a dependant package of  the    open ssl rpm package.

    But we had to suppress the   openssl rpm package so that  yum works without troubles.

     

    Is there a solution to suppress this warning message from the   yum check  command result ?

    Will we have this message till the end of our life ?

     

    I found a pdf article containing all the available   YUM commands for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

    Do you know if a pdf article containing all the available   YUM commands for AIX does exist ?

    You can update your rrdtool rpm to the latest version available in Toolbox. It will resolve this problem.
