I have a year to date metric to one of  my reports but I am seeing what appears to be an average! Its definately not returning a year to date as this figure is lower than the in month values. Has anybody seen anything similar?

My guess is the YTD metric might have been reformatted as AVG(YTD) within your report. I would check the formula bar within the report to confirm whether this is the case.

It might also be a perspective issue. If, for some reason, you're viewing the report using an unintended perspective, then your values will look strange.

Is this from an OOTB report or a custom report? I have my own YTD metrics, but I don't use them in reports with the months also visible. You might verify where the YTD metric values are feeding from. Screenshot?

Check to make sure the "Time Behavior" is Sum and not Average.
