I am trying to find the best place to do YoY reporting.  Does anyone have experience with creating these types of reports?  We are budget season and trying to compare current year data to what is being budgeted for next.  I have created an Apptio BI report but it seems limited with what it can display.  I am trying not to push data back and forth from ITP and CT.  Any suggestions/guidance would be excellent.  Thanks.

Michael - how are your forecast create yearly or multiple year forecast?  I have a 4 year plan - so I can see all 4 years in one view.  I do a virtualization for each year by choosing This Year, Next Year, 2 Year Future, etc in the Data Range area.   Does this help?

@Regina Brennan Thanks.  I am trying to create visualizations with the deltas.  You can see what you spend with vendor A in the prior year to the current year or current year spend and forecast what you are going to pay again next year.  ​​

The only way I know to view last year data is the CT visibility and to view this year to next year is with IT planning visibility. So with CT you use Compare to Option to see Last year vs this year - and with IT Planning you use the calculated metric between two plans.  You can have multiple virtualization on a single page using both CT and IT Planning.  Currently i don't think you can do different virtualization using multiple IT plans.
