I tried to perform an XQuery through X-Node to get data from a SQL Server. This returned an error message that said XQuery cannot be used with X-Node.

Is this true? Does Software AG have plans to make XQuery compatible with X-Node? Is there any way around this problem besides resorting to X-Query?

yes the current version does not support XQuery
on X-Node mappped data.
Yes, we have plans to make this in the
next major version available.
I see no other workaround besides X-Query.
