Thanks for your comments, I have tried including the JAR file in Launcher class path CLASSPATH [edited launcher.sh] and also tried adding the JAR file in dtx.ini but it did not work. I will be upgrading to ITX 9.0 in couple of months time, so applying latest service pack and performing regression testing will be time consuming. Anyway let me try if latest service pack resolves the problem
