XML Signatures - Tamino 4.1.4 on RedHat 7.2 for Intel

  • 1.  XML Signatures - Tamino 4.1.4 on RedHat 7.2 for Intel

    Hello, people

I’m new on this forum and I’ve come with the hope that you will help me. I’ve installed Tamino 4.1.4.1 on a RedHat 7.2 system (Intel architecture) and I want to know if there’s some Security Extensions (for XML signatures) availables for RedHat 7.2 OS, like thouse for Windows. If is not, I supouse that the XML signature tags will be defined in the schema that will contain such type of documents (I’m talking about both enveloped/enveloping and detached signatures)

    Thank you

    Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

you are right, the Tamino XML Security Extension is currently just available on Windows. But independent from this, if you like to use enveloped/enveloping Signatures, you have to define the signature element in your document schema or your document schema as part of the signature element. What the Signature extension does is, it validates if the signatures are valid or not during the database insert is done.

    regards Eckehard

    Hello, Mr. Eckehard

Thank you for your answer, I’ll sure do that, I mean defining/modifying the schema that holds the signed XML documents.

    Regards,

    Daniel
