And searched alot on net but not able to find suitable links for the same. Also the help in WTX is not sufficient, I feel.
Can anyone provide how we can perform compliance check for the HIPAA 5010 msg? Some sample tutorial / links to move further. It would be much of help.
    I appreciate early response.

If you're running on your desktop, I believe you just point the 2nd input card to the data you want to check and run "ComplianceChecker.mmc". The output, which is a bit complicated, will tell you the results. I no longer have the compliance checker, so I do not have the code or the documentation. I can only offer help from what I recall.

While doing build all after changing the relevant configuration, as u suggessted, it is giving error in most of the maps about in-correct tree type and unresolved rules.
The errore seems to be in pre-compiled maps (the blue color) as well.
Can you suggesst some thing on this? Apart from compliance check any other map needs to be configured.
I am using TX Studio 8.2, also it got closed most of the time giving jvm error pop-up.

The file attached is the screen shot when i tried only compiling the compliance check map.

    Thanks & Regards,

I am good with executing the Compliance Check as per your suggesstion, but when I am trying the same integrating with WMB its giving some erros. I just want know whether we need to configure all the input cards for compalince check or only 2 input card, also similar for the output card. We havent configured any o/p card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My scenario is ... i have to pass a HIPAA 837 5015 file for compliance check and want to validate - I am taking this file form MQ input giving it to WTX Compliance check noce and collecting it from the destination folder from MQ Output. But facing issue in itegrating. It is saying "source not available". Cn you help... I am not abale to find any link online, except WTX help which says check file name ... but fortunately which is correct only.

There are a number of ways to go about this. What I usually do is extract the HIPAA 837 from the main 5010 type tree. You need to select the correct version. Do you need Dental, Institutional, Professional or a combination of more than one?

From there create a validation map pointing your input card to your file and the extracted, compiled type tree. Copy the Input card to the output side changing card and output file names. Initially run the map without trace turned on. If the map fails due to a data error turn tracing on and run the map. Review you trace file to determine issues.

Keep in mind that a number of the HIPAA 5010 rules are still being reviewed others have only recently been approved. Make sure you have the most recent HIPAA type trees and if the data fails you need to track down the most recent version of the implementation guides to confirm the error is actually an error. If you find a discrepancy you can temporarily fix the type tree but should report the issue to IBM.

You are receiving the error may be because
    1. you have not configured i/p in a right way.
    2. May be it is looking for the 1st i/p card input.
It is always good to have the relative path configured in map.
If not working try using only one input card.
