After installing new version 8.3 of WTX we are not able to start the launcher properly. We cannot start systems in the launcher, where the msl references mapped network drives. In the ManagementConsole-Log appears a one line message "System antwortet nicht" which should be equal to "System doesn't respond".
OS is Win 2003 Server. The server is part of a domain. The launcher service logs on with the account of the local administrator and can be started without problems.
It looks like the launcher couldn't access the mapped drives, although we see the drives in the explorer and can access them in the design studio. We can generate an msl using accessing msd-files stored on the network drives.
Currently we have a similar setup for our WTX 8.0 version. Differences: OS is Win 2000 Server, server on which the launcher is running is not integrated into the domain. Here everything works fine. So we removed the server with WTX 8.3 from the domain, but that didn't help.
We tried to reference all network drives in the mms-files using unc naming convention. Now the system could be started in the launcher. But changing all paths to unc doesn't seem to be a very appealing solution.
Is there anybody who can help???
Thanks a lot!
