    The eclipse based Design Studio does not contain support for the creation of type trees via an "Import BAPI" option. There are options for SAP BDC, SAP DXOB and IBM Websphere Adapter for SAP software but no support for BAPI (as there was with 8.1.0.2).

    Has anyone noticed this too? and if so, is there any alternative to creating BAPI based type trees with ver 8.2?

    As a last resort, I presume that I can use 8.1 to create the BAPI type trees and use 8.2 to analyse them but this is not elegant.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Transformation Extender ... SAP BAPI'. However, I have found the 'Import BAPI' wizard to be unusable (e.g. have to hit "next" button several times before the next screen is displayed, some parts of the screens are 'missing' until you hit next, and then even after using the Adapter command line wizard, one cannot progress"). Has anyone else discovered this?? If so, did you find a workaround??

    The SAP BAPI Importer wizard is not usable within WTX 8.2. I have logged a PMR with IBM and they have confirmed that they can replicate the problem. Have rolled back to 8.1.0.3 because we rely on the BAPI import support.
