HI Stuart,
Sorry for jumping in but wanted to add my use case per your question to Ryan.
The system I am currently developing has as an example a General Ledger cube.
This in turn has dimensions for General Ledger Source, General Ledger Accounts and General Ledger Measures.
Some dimensions may have Attributes as well as Picklist cubes associated with them.
There are numerous processes dealing with metadata and data e.g. MD-General Ledger Account-Import Master Data, D-General Ledger-Carry Forward Actuals etc. etc.
Some processes may have chores linked to them e.g. General Ledger-Daily Process.
Similarly, I have a Sales Planning, Sales Pricing, Expense, Income Statement and a few others each with similar related objects.
For my requirements, I would like the search to filter across Applications, Cubes, Dimensions, Process, Chores and Control Objects and show only those that match the filter being typed e.g. General Ledger. The search should traverse the objects e.g Applications, Cubes views etc. and apply the filtering consistently
Hope this makes sense.

We are investigating options to return to the behavior in the classic UI that did not include 'load more' feature. This would be in place of being able to configure the 'load more' size.
@Ryan Clapp Can you provide details about the use case where you are searching for an object based on it's name where the objects returned could have multiple types (e.g dimensions, cubes, processes)? Is this just to access a logical grouping of objects, such as finding a cube and a TI processes that loads data into that cube?

I have also expressed my frustration with this and have also been told a fix is coming. I agree with being able to search the tree, however both a load more number and search are necessary as with a large number of objects I may not know what the object name is.

Since they're on it, I believe having the ability to search the database tree would be the most ideal solution here.
That way it will restrict us from scrolling up and down as well to search any object.

Hi James,
You will be stuck with this while running 2.0.57 but as Julian replied in George's Post on here there will be a setting as you have described coming in the next release (60.)
I think you are not the only one to have felt this pain by the sounds of it.
Thanks,
Declan
