Hi, 

Currently running Workspace 2.0.57. 

1.  Currently making dashboards in Workspace.  Am using subsets on a dropdown to filter rows in an exploration. Unfortunately, this presents the users with an entire list of the subsets in the dimension.  Yes, the user can filter the subset list but restricting the list for them would be a better solution.  Does not look possible.

 2. Am attempting to use native elements rather than publishing, using native explorations for numbers.  Am writing MDX to represent a view as a simple grid will not give me what I need.  This is working as expected.  However, using dropdowns to change the MDX seems impossible.  Ideally, I would use variables to reference where I would like the report to change via a dropdown.  This is possible when publishing as can use SUBNM exactly where you want to impact.  

I could use TIs to achieve both the above.  Using dropdowns in some occasions to filter and buttons in others just seems untidy.

Assume am looking at raising enhancement requests?  Anything in the pipeline already?

Can possibly help you out on No.1

I drag the dimension onto the canvas then go to the Custom properties, and change Selection Type to Members from Sets and Levels. Once done, I configure required synchronisation on the exploration(s).  Have not founds a way to do this on the dimension in the exploration itself.

Sorry - maybe I wasn't clear.  I want to use the subset dropdowns - not members.  I want the user to switch between one big list of members with another big list of members by flicking the subset from one to another on the dropdown.  

However, I don't want them to be faced with 100 subsets that have been created for various reasons for this dimension.  Just the two I am using for this exploration.
