I need your help. I have a problem with deployment. I’m using Azure Pipeline and I’m using ProjectAutomatorTemplate among others.
There I have information about schedule tasks that should be created on the target server.
However, I do not know how and where to put information about what a specific Target should be set instead of “Any server”.

Hi,

usually “Any Server” will be the best choice, esp. when running in clustered environments.
There are very few predefined scheduled tasks which set their target to the instance they are running on.
You should avoid deployment for these as they usually are the result of certain Wm*-packages being installed and active on the instance.
When you look in the top left corner of the IS Admin pages you will a user name and a computer name there.
This computer name releates with the possible entry for the target.
