   Does anyone have any experience on this combination?

2. Does anyone have experience in doing an in-place Windows upgrade and the result on the WTX and MQ installations?

I was able to run the final script manually in a Command Prompt (opened as Administrator) and then the Design Studio started and functioned normally.

You should achieve better results with an in-place upgrade.
