  • 1.  Windows Server instance Password Retrieval problem

    Hello! 
    I created a Windows Server Virtual instance and configured a private SSH key. And then on my local computer, I installed IBM CLI so I could access my IBM cloud account using the following command; 
    ibmcloud login​

    And then, I had to connect to my instance using the following CLI command;

    ibmcloud is instance-initialization-values INSTANCE [--private-key (KEY | @KEY_FILE) [--private-key-passphrase

    The above command is supposed to retrieve the Windows server instance password based on the private Key I integrated while creating it. But the problem is that I'm getting  something like this on my terminal;

    Basically, I'm not getting the password I need to RDP into my Windows Server instance. Please I need help here so I can solve this problem. I will appreciate any info that could help me on this issue.

    • First check if you enabled API on your Google cloud instance. 
    • Secondly, navigate to the that instance and reset the RDP password if you don't remember that password or reset it it will provide you with a password. 
    Once everything is done you can now go back to your IBM CLI and retry to login into your IBM console from CLI using API calls.
