When I installed PAW 74 on Windows 2019 everything went smoothly with the install.
However, I have assumed that Windows 2019 still has a risk of Mongo DB not stopping cleanly when the server shuts down (like Windows Server 2016) and the
documentation does suggest a "manual" shutdown as a recommended step also.
But the shutdown.ps1 script does not exist in the scripts folder for the PAW74 on Server 2019 download from Fix Central.
To get around this I just copied the script over from the Server 2016 download and placed it in the scripts folder on my install, the script is quite straightforward and still works to cleanly shutdown Mongo DB.
So my question is:
- Is the Windows 2019 PAW 74 download missing the shutdown.ps1 script by mistake?
- Or is this actually no longer required for Windows Server 2019?
Thanks,
