  • 1.  Wincollect SSL error

    Hi,

    trying to add a new agent with the last version of agent (7.3.1 P2) and the last version of Qradar (7.5 UP7 IF6) we receive the following error:

     java.io.IOException: HTTPS hostname wrong:  should be <ipconsole>
    Mar 12 10:20:55 ::ffff:127.0.0.1 [ecs-ec-ingress.ecs-ec-ingress] [WinCollectConfigHandler_2]    at com.ibm.net.ssl.www2.protocol.https.HttpsClient.checkURLSpoofing(HttpsClient.java:654)

    We try to do the same on a lab with the same configuration an it works fine, the unique difference between the ambients is that the production environment has a commercial SSL certificate.

    Can you help us please?

    HI,

    I have the exact same issue, only my wincollect agents cannot get configuration from the console. Sam logs as Yours. waiting for the solution

    Hi Vedran, how are you?

    Finally i have resolved it with the following steps:

    1 - Unninstall Wincollect Agent from windows server.

    2 - Delete de config folder from /store/configservices/wincollect/configserver

    3 - Install the agent again.

    4 - Restart event collection services.
