    I am using the SPSS program and it continually crashes and displays the error message "An unknown error has terminated communication with the processor. The SPSS Statistics Processor is unavailable". I deleted the program from my computer and redownloaded it. It keeps giving me the same message. At one point I received a message saying a fatal error has

    occurred.

    You haven't said what version of SPSS you are using or what OS you are on, but if you are on Mac running Big Sur, you need to install the SPSS fixpack. Apple likes to break things.

    I am using Big Sur and the SPSS version I am using is 27.0.0.0. I am trying to download the fix from the IBM website. I have an account made for IBM, but once I hit the "I agree to the terms" button it doesn't do anything from there.
