    I am guessing some sort of temp files are cleared when I restart the services but I am not sure where they are or what exactly is cleared. The usability of the dashboards increases a lot after restarts and customers always remark how much more they like to use it right after a restart.

    Hi Markis,

    There could be many things impacting Cognos environment performance.

    Can you please clarify:

    1. What it is the datasource for the dashboard ( database, uploaded file, dataset)?
    2. Did you notice the difference in the  performance for all dashboards/reports or only for selected few?
    3. How many concurrent users can access these dashboards?
