Maximo Spatial

Hi All,

I am trying to configure the GIS Maps and getting the error message that "Map has no Base map".

Here are the steps i am following to configure.

1. Updated / configured the system property 'mxe.sec.header.Content_security_policy' as per the technote (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/masv-and-l/cd?topic=interface-updating-content-security-policy-in-maximo-manage)

2. Created a new record in the Map manager application.

• Name - GIS Test
• Description - GIS Test
• Distance - KM
• Map provider - Maximo spatial
• MAF Map component - Yes
• Open Map provider - ArcGIS
• Base map url - Given as shared by GIS administrator
• Geocode url - https://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/GeocodeServer
• Route url - https://route.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/Route/NAServer/Route_World
• Distance Matrix service url- https://route.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/Route/NAServer/Route_World
• Web Map configuration - Nothing did
• Map security - Enabled the token security, provided the GIS username and password
• Map service - Provided the Map server url

After clicking on the Map service button, getting the message as "Map has no Base map" but I have provided the base map url. If i provide the base map url in the Map service field then i am able to select the Min and Max values in site section (It is displaying the GIS maps) but if i do this then i am not able to select the map service layers in the Map service section.

Any suggestion why Maximo suite 9.0 is expecting the Base map url in the map service section.

In MAS a base map has to be a Vector Tile service or a Cached map. This Map service also has to have the highest service order sequence.
