  • 1.  Which Database ??

    Posted 11/16/01 11:30 PM

Probably, I am missing something. In Tamino, I can create multiple databases. I can create collections withs same name in different databases. So, while using the “Fast Mass Load” utility, where do I specify the database ??

    inoxmld server=mypc:3204 user=[userid] collection=hospital/patient input=abc.xml norejects log=xyz.xml

Each database listens on a tcp/ip port, e.g 3204 and it is this that you specify in the mass-loader command line not the actual name of the database. You can find out the tcp/ip port (XML Port) that a particular database uses by using the Tamino Manager.
