    What is the financial implication if programmers get the setting mixed up for “Compute Mode” and “Compute Node”?

    Hi Debra

    One of my pet topics.  I've answerd you in another thread, attached a presentation.  But, if you get the wrong mode setting for the compute node then the impact is that you pay for it by having an impact on performance. Sometimes a small impact, but it can be very big depending on the payload of the message.  After you have seen my presentation, please ask away.  In the presentation I try to explain how to use the compute mode setting, and I also show examples of what can be the impact if you get it wrong.
