    I constantly have this message 'An unknown error has terminated communication with the processor. The SPSS Statistics Processor is unavailable` whenever am analyzing my data on Mac 10.15.7 Catalina. This terminates my analysis. What can I do to fix it?

    Do you use IBM SPSS Statistics version 27 on the Mac with i9 processor?

    Then it maybe has to do with the issue corrected with Interim Fix 006: 27.0-IM-S27STATC-MAC-IF006

    Please download Interim Fix 006 from IBM Fixcentral https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral and apply it. Read the instructions on the readme on downloaded file

    Hello, is there also a solution for the 26.2 version with the same problem and a i9 Processor? Have installed both fixpacks, which didn`t help.. Thanks

    Reinstalling Java for Big Sur helped me when I was getting this error. I didn't even have to apply the patch. The new OSs don't have java installed.
