    Support for TLS 1.2 introduced from Wget 1.16.1 version onwards. AIX Toolbox rpms are usually built in AIX 6.1 which won't run in AIX 5.3 .

    For your requirement, you can take it from Perzl site.

    There are no dependencies for wget. Only make sure you have latest version of AIX openssl installed.
