Websphere server not responding

Hi
We have a windows 2003 Standard edition server with WAS 5.0.2.6 running on it. we havej2ee web application deployed on it.

we are facing following issues with it.

1. System usually slows down then stops, usually 1st thing in the morning and/or after lunch, but has happened at other times during the day as well.
2. Can’t remote in, Hosting Service goes to restart at the console --- they click start on the server, and locks up, have to power down and back up.
3. Sometimes there are several people logged in, some times only a few
4. Usually invalid credentials error in log, but not always, and doesn’t always go down when those errors appear.
5. Sometimes there is no problem, all works well with many users

Does anybody have a clue to what the cause to the problem is?

There is absolutely no way to know what is going on unless you take the time to review your WebSphere logs for exception and/or warnings and be so kind as to place them in your `test`.`post` so that the rest of us can try to assist you.

So, please provide some log snippets of your problem AFTER you look at them and figure out if something odd is happening.
