WebSphere certification

Hi there!
I'm quite new to WebSphrere so I'd like to know more about certification about the version 6.1 since that's the version we use. Can someone recommend me some WAS certification forum/blog/whatsoever and some literature? I know about IBM's redbooks and I also know about IBM education assistant, which is really great, but some extra materials are always welcome. I saw that IBM recommends this as prerequest :
* basic WebSphere administration skills
* basic J2EE knowledge
* basic WebSphere security concepts
* basic Web application architecture and deployments
* basic understanding of operating systems
* basic clustering and failover techniques
* troubleshooting and problem determination skills
Do I really have to know all that??? The only problem for me is Java programming, since I'm not a programmer.
